This is my very first, very simple plug-in for Ambrosia's kick-ass game Escape Velocity. It will most likely crash and conflict with every other plug-in under the sun because I'm new at all this.
Dent consists of just one mission, and one new "përs" resource, which adds another ship/player to the game. Both are based on the book "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" which featured a character named Arthur Dent, hence the name.
The majority of this was created in Schmelta-V, with a little tinkering in ResEdit.
The mission
The mission will only appear in the Sol system, and it will only appear once. Once you complete the mission you will never see it again. If you fail, you may get another chance. The mission will only be activated if you have a combat rating of above 1,600 (Noteworthy).
The person
The new guy flying around is a character from HHGTTG, but I won't tell you which one. Of course, you can easily find out using ResEdit or the twelve gazillion EV editors available, but that spoils all the fun.
Since this is just generally a test, I've kept it very basic. If everything goes well, I'll most likely add a shit-load of people and missions based on HHGTTG, if someone hasn't done so already.
